Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her interest in performing on stage. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television role. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. The early 90s were when Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood that was shot in the mid 2000's. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional career. Gunn was also on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. The relationship that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final years of life.
